Former Strictly Come Dancing Pro Ola Jordan says one star 'shouldn't be in the competition' as the final draws closer.

Last week, the celebrities and their professional dance partners took to the Blackpool ballroom in a bid to impress judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Head Judge Shirley Ballas.

Following the dance-off opera singer Wynne and his pro partner Katya lost their place in the competition after going up against Montell and Johannes.

TOWIE star Pete Wicks remains in the competition despite finding himself at the bottom of the leader board with a score of 27 from the judges.

However, it seems Pete is the bookies’ current favourite to leave this weekend, and former Strictly winner Ola Jordan agrees - but she also thinks Jamie is at risk, Manchester Evening News reports.

She said: "I think Pete and Jamie will be in the bottom two. I think Pete’s tango isn’t going to be bad, but I think people are realising now that he shouldn’t be in the competition anymore. Jamie’s got the Foxtrot – Foxtrot is very technical, and he might struggle with that.”

“I think JB will be safe this weekend. He’s got Charleston, so I think it’s going to be a really good and fun dance. Then you’ve got Montell doing the Quickstep, and because Montell was in the bottom two last week, I don’t think she’ll be in the bottom two this week.”

According to Grosvenor Sport, the odds for Pete to be the next star to be eliminated are now at 3/4.

Speaking about his performance in Blackpool earlier this week, Ola said: “I just think with Pete, he's a bit cringy. I'm just worried that they're going to make too much of that, and he will then look back on his time on Strictly and think ‘I wish I didn't do that. I wish I did more proper dances.’”.

“I think people are realising that he was really bad this week. So it will get to the point where people are going to get bored of all this gyrating of his hips.

"If he does a really good lovely number, I feel he's going to go because people will think he doesn't need the votes anymore, so maybe that's what's going to happen.”

“I think it's his time to be in the bottom two. If he finds himself in the bottom two, he's going to go because he is definitely the weakest dancer compared to everyone else.”
