Former Big Brother contestant Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace says she was held at gunpoint while being burgled.
Speaking about the ordeal, Aisleyne, 39, recounted the terrifying moment she was the victim of a home invasion just last week on 5 March.
Revealing the incident to the Sun, the ex-reality star shared how three armed men broke into her home and demanded her valuables, including jewellery, designer handbags, and cash.
‘I feared for my life and I thought they were going to rape me,’ she said of the harrowing experience.
‘I was having a quiet Monday night and was about to go to bed. I heard a knock at my door. I looked through the spy hole and it was covered,’ she recalled.
‘They were asking for a man’s name, I said, “You’ve got the wrong door”, but they knocked it down.’
She went on: ‘I started screaming and three men barged into my corridor and crowded around me. They were asking for money and my watches.
‘I was screaming a lot and probably waking up other people in my flat, so they fled.
‘I called the police afterwards but I’m still so shaken and have had to replace my front door.’
The paper report that the star had previously posted photos on Instagram posing with piles of cash which is believed to have inspired a Kim Kardashian-style robbery after thieves saw valuables to steal via social media.
The posts appear to have since been deleted but were captioned: ‘I take so much offence when ‘men’ on Instagram say I’m a gold digger. It’s ALL MY OWN!’ and ‘Sorry honey… can’t see the haters!’ as she snapped herself in diamond sunglasses and with bank notes behind them.
During the robbery, the glamour model ended up handing over her Rolex and designer handbags. She’s since vowed not to brag about her wealth so it doesn’t happen again and compared herself to what Kim experienced.
‘It must have been how Kim Kardashian felt when she was held at gun point in Paris two years ago at her hotel.
‘I’m all about female empowerment and I and proud of what I’ve earned, but I will be more careful about what I put on my social media in the future.’
Despite police confirming that the incident has been reported, at present no one has been arrested or charged with the crime. She’s since made an appeal on Twitter for any further information that might lead to catching the thieves.
If anyone has any information please tell the police. ❤️ I can’t put into words how I feel xx https://t.co/VPNmuzX3pC
