Cheltenham Town are set to re-sign midfielder Harry Pell, six years after he left the club.

The 32-year-old was released by AFC Wimbledon at the end of the 2023/24 League Two campaign.

He initially joined the Robins from Eastleigh in the summer of 2015, helping Gary Johnson's team storm to the National League title with 101 points in his first season at the club.

He stayed for the first two seasons back in the EFL as Cheltenham finished 21st and 17th in League Two, before departing for Colchester United for £100,000 in the summer of 2018.

Pell very nearly joined Blackpool in August 2017, but the move fell through and he saw out the 2017/18 campaign with Cheltenham.

He made a total of 134 appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals.
