Former Derby County ace Ravel Morrison has finally landed a new club after two years of waiting by signing for Dubai-based side Precision FC.

Morrison has been a free agent since leaving DC United in 2022 and had been training with the PFA in the summer to keep himself in shape. There were rumours he would be signing for Plymouth where he would be reunited with ex-Rams boss Wayne Rooney.

But the 31-year-old has now signed for Precision who play in the second division in Dubai. A statement read: "We are beyond excited to welcome the incredible Ravel Morrison to Precision FC!

"This is more than a signing – it’s a statement, a game-changer for both our club and football in the UAE. Known for his electrifying talent and skill, Ravel brings world-class experience and flair that will help our team to achieve it’s goals. This is the start of something extraordinary. Welcome to the family, Ravel!"

Morrison made 38 appearances for Derby from August 2021 to July 2022 and scored five goals. There was talk of him being handed a new deal before he left the club, but the Rams were in administration. He then left the club to join Rooney again at DC United in a move that yielded just 14 appearances.
