A former Emmerdale star will soon appear in a new TV series featuring some Hollywood greats.

Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana played Suni in the ITV soap before leaving last year. When he first joined Emmerdale the actor star posted: "The past few months have been surreal.

"Met and worked with some incredible people.” Later this year, fans will see the former Emmerdale fave appear in Amazon Prime’s Anansi Boys.

The series follows the exploits of a man who discovers that his father was an incarnation of the god Anansi. Among its cast, the show will feature Whoopi Goldberg, Fiona Shaw and Jason Watkins.

On IMDb, Brahmdeo is listed among the cast. Elsewhere in his career, he has appeared in blockbuster films, including Enola Holmes 2, Ant-Man And The Wasp and Medusa - Queen Of The Serpents.
