Former Gogglebox star Sandra Martin announces death of sister
Former Gogglebox star Sandra Martin has announced the death of her sister, Jennifer Richards.
Sandra appeared on the Channel 4 show for nine series between 2013 and 2017, and announced earlier this week that Jennifer had passed away.
"My sister Jennifer Richards has passed away… I love you Jen," she wrote on social media, sharing photos of her late sister. "RIP JENNIFER RICHARDS."

Fans offered their condolences to Sandra in the comments, with one follower on X/Twitter writing: "Aww so so sorry Put ur right hand on ur left shoulder then put ur left hand on ur right shoulder and squeeze and that is a virtual hug from me to you xxx"
The current cast of Gogglebox recently suffered some change, with stalwart Stephen Lustig-Webb departing the show after a decade-long stint, along with his husband Daniel.

"We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities," the couple said in a statement. "We would both like to thank Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for letting us be part of this amazing, funny and heartwarming show."
"We are extremely thankful to the cast and crew, or Gogglebox family as we call them, and of course the fans, thank you for all of your love & support over the years," they said.

"We thought we would put out this little video especially for the fans of the show. Just to say thank you for all your love and support over the years, it really has meant a lot," they added in a video clip.
"If you do get withdrawal symptoms, we are always available on Netflix. Come to the salon, come and get your hair cut. It's been an absolute ride and absolute pleasure."
Gogglebox airs and streams on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
