Former GP remembered in this week's Leicester Mercury death notices
A former GP has been remembered in this week’s Leicester Mercury death notices. Hamish John McDonald died aged 97 earlier this month.
He is one of 17 people to be remembered this week. Tributes have also been paid to a “devoted husband”.

July 29th 1942 - November 9th 2024 It is with great sadness that Roger passed away peacefully on the evening of the 9th November, at the tender age of 82. Beloved and devoted husband to Sheila and loving dad to his children John, Louise and Mike, step daughters Julie and Jane, and much loved grandpa to Sam, Katie, Joe, Tom, Dan, Zach, Megan, Emily and Ellie. Roger will be dearly missed by all who knew him, especially his family, and was taken from us all far too soon.
