Jessica's news comes over two years after her exit from Hollyoaks, when her character Tegan Lomax was killed off in one of the soap's dramatic stunts.

Tegan died back in 2018 as part of Hollyoaks' deadly storm storyline. After being hit by a falling tree, she was rushed to hospital and told to say her goodbyes to her family by doctors in an emotional twist.

Speaking to Digital Spy following her heart-breaking exit, Jessica admitted: "Obviously I was sad. It's the end of an era and I loved working there, but I was excited to be part of the stunt and I thought it was a really exciting death...
