Former Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis has revealed her future plans after taking a year away from the spotlight.
Davis, who played Sinead O'Connor on the show, stepped away from the Channel 4 soap in 2019 to spend time with her son – but she's now ready to make a comeback.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Davis revealed that she's been working on a number of new projects, and will return to TV screens later this year.
Alongside an image of herself with her son, Davis thanked her fans and family for their support as she struggled with her mental health and with addiction.
"The good thing is... I'm now BACK (and this time for good! ) Over the past year I've been working hard on my music, I've wrote an album, got my own clothing line which is dropping THIS SUMMER, my book and sorting some exciting tv work later this year & more!
She added: "I've been working so hard behind the scenes and can't wait to share it with you all. Thank you for giving me that time I needed.
"I can't wait to share with you my life again and follow me on this new journey of self discovery. All my love, Stephanie X."
It's currently unclear what Davis' next TV role will be, but the actress previously made it clear she wouldn't be returning to Hollyoaks as she's looking to work on "new and exciting projects".
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Fridays at 7pm on E4.
