Former Leicestershire nightlife venue to re-open as 'go-to destination'
A former Leicestershire nightlife venue is set to re-open but for a different purpose. The Kelso in Loughborough is set to reopen as a “competitive socialising venue”, a spokesperson for the venue said.
Complete with four interactive dart lanes, two shuffleboards, a pool table, table tennis and beer pong, the venue has been designed to be the “go-to destination in Loughborough for social gatherings”. Located in the town’s Ward’s End, the first floor will be available for event hire.

Customers will be able to scan a QR code to order takeaways from the Jam Garden pub next door, which can be delivered straight to their game stations or seat. Students will also receive special discount prices on all games when showing a valid student ID.
To celebrate the reopening, The Kelso are hosting a ‘Free Play’ event on Sunday, October, 6 from 3pm-5pm, where all games will be free of charge. The venue is due to reopen on Friday, September, 20.
