Former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp's true feelings on Man United letting Jadon Sancho leave
Jurgen Klopp comments show he may well disagree with Manchester United's decision to let Jadon Sancho leave the club on loan. The former Liverpool boss filled the airwaves with his take on Sancho's fortunes after he helped Borussia Dortmund reach the Champions League final.
Sancho's rift with United manager Erik ten Hag over a matchday squad exclusion a year ago propelled him into exile in Manchester. This was before he was reintegrated back into the first-team ranks over the summer following his return from the Bundesliga.
As deadline day unfolded, it became clear Sancho would be swapping Manchester for Stamford Bridge. A £72million talent, he's arrived in west London on loan terms, with Chelsea committed to a purchase.

Klopp, speaking before the transfer was finalised, insisted Sancho deserved much more backing: "If the whole world loses trust and faith in the player, the manager has to be the one behind the player. I cannot just buy into that 'he's useless', like other clubs did by the way - buying a player for £80 million and then sending him out on loan!"
Sancho has departed United having found the back of the net a mere 12 times. The English winger has seen his place in the national team slip away since his return to the Premier League, but he's now set to challenge himself at Chelsea, who boast a packed roster of talent.
Old Trafford's sporting director Dan Ashworth provided insight into United's thinking behind Sancho's sale during a discussion with Sky Sports. The club's stacked forward line and Sancho's absence from Ten Hag's plans for the squad so far this season painted a stark picture of limited opportunities for him going forward.
Ashworth said: "I think with any player, whether it's Jadon, whether it's Scott [McTominay] or whether it's Aaron [Wan-Bissaka], if there's a preference that they would like to move and go to a new club and it's right for them and it's right for us, then you have to explore it.
"We felt we had enough depth in that particular position to be able to cover it, we've got four really good wide players, Jadon was a fifth, and it just enabled us to make that decision. If it was good for him and good for us it was something we were willing to consider."
