Former Newcastle United midfielder mocks Sunderland in brutal fashion after late winner
Former Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko had the last laugh this weekend after facing the Magpies' arch-rivals Sunderland.
The 35-year-old, who made 133 appearances at St. James' Park during a four year tenure, joined Championship side Watford in the recent summer transfer window. It's his second stint with the Hornets after a single season with the Hornets in the Premier League back in 2021-22.
Sissoko spent time with Tottenham Hotspur and Nantes after leaving the Magpies, before returning to Vicarage Road earlier this summer. The Frenchman has made six appearances for Tom Cleverley's side since returning to the Championship outfit.

His most recent appearance, came in this weekend's 2-1 win over the Black Cats. The former Magpies midfielder was given a frosty reception by the travelling red and white army.
Sunderland supporters had not forgotten his time at Newcastle and booed the former French international throughout the game. However, it was the former Magpie who had the last laugh as the Hornets scored a late penalty to secure all three points against Regis Le Bris' side.
Sissoko celebrated the win in front of the travelling Red and White Army, with videos on social media showing him 'giving it large.'
However, Newcastle fans were quick to point out that the French midfielder didn't always perform during his time at St. James' Park, citing his form during the Magpies' relegation campaign in 2015-16. Sissoko was sold to Tottenham at the end of that season for a fee in the region of £30million.
