Former Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls and MP Yvette Cooper spotted queuing for the shower at Glastonbury

Ed Balls and his wife Yvette Cooper were papped doing the thing every festival-goer dreads – queuing for the showers.

Turns out even Strictly Come Dancing Stars have to join the masses at Glastonbury when they need to wash.

The former shadow chancellor and his wife – also a Labour MP – were spotted stood clutching wash-bags and towels and reading their phones as they waited in line for the facilities.

Mr Balls, who became a star of last year’s Strictly, reportedly had entertained festival-goers on Thursday night with an impromptu performance of Gangnam Style.

Despite his popularity, he is not likely to compete with this year’s headliners who include Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran.

Glastonbury Festival takes place from Wednesday to Sunday.
