Former Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow was amongst the crowds arriving this morning for the start of Wimbledon fortnight. The tournament was cancelled last year for the first time since World War II because of Covid. This year matches will be played in front of 50% capacity crowds due to the pandemic, with fans having to prove they have had two vaccines or a recent negative lateral flow coronavirus test.
