Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Kristina Rihanoff has revealed her pick to win this year's series.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Rihanoff explained why she thinks Joe Sugg is the right person to win the ITV show.

"I love Joe [Sugg] – he is the right person to win the show," she said. "He's a YouTube sensation, which is an unusual choice for Strictly, but he epitomises what the show is about."

She added that, unlike other contestants on the show, Sugg doesn't have any prior dancing training, which would make a victory for him even more impressive.

"There are a lot of celebrities with dance training, like Ashley Roberts, which makes the performances outstanding, but Joe doesn't have that background – he just gives it 100 per cent each week. Joe winning would be good for the show."

Recently, Sugg apologised to judge Darcey Bussell after she criticised him for counting his steps.

Appearing on It Takes Two last on November 15, Sugg told Zoe Ball that he'd learned his lesson.

"As soon as the judges tell me something, I like to take it on board," he explained. "I'm never doing that [again].

"Listen to what they say, there's a reason they are the judges and they know their stuff."

"I won't do it again Darcey and I'm sorry," he joked.
