Former Strictly star Katya Virshilas welcomes her first baby – find out the gender
Congratulations are in order for Katya Virshilas and her husband Klaus Kongsdal. The former Strictly Come Dancing star and her partner have welcomed their first child – a bouncing baby boy.
A rep for the couple revealed the news exclusively to HELLO!: "Katya Virshilas and Klaus Kongsdal are delighted to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy. Mother and baby are doing well."

The 32-year-old announced her pregnancy in HELLO! just weeks after she found out she was expecting in November. "I can't hide it any more – my bump is quite big!" said Katya.
The Lithuanian star married her husband Klaus, a Danish ballroom dancer and coach, in 2012. With two dancers for parents, the little boy will be tapping his booties in no time.
"They will be surrounded by dance competitions and dance shows," said Klaus, who didn't know the sex of his baby at that point. "I think dancing helps you learn a lot, including how to respect women."

The new parents are no doubt floating on cloud nine and enjoying this new chapter in their lives. Katya was previously pregnant in 2014 but on her husband's 40th birthday, she found out that her baby's heart was no longer beating during a doctor's appointment. She had to sadly undergo an operation to remove the undeveloped egg.
HELLO! magazine exclusively covered Katya and Klaus' wedding in 2012. The couple married in a fairytale chateau in the Loire Valley.

The humanist wedding ceremony was held in a candlelit cave in the grounds of the Chateau de Chissay. There were nods to Katya's Jewish routes with customs such as the groom stomping on glass.
There were also plenty of Danish wedding traditions, including one in which the groom has the ends of his socks cut off – a custom that is said to indicate that he can no longer run after other women.
