That Fortnite train just keeps on a truckin'.

Following the Loot Lake transformation, Epic Games has announced when the sixth season of the phenomenally popular multiplayer game is set to parasail into our lives, and finally drag us away from Spider-Man.

In a message on the official Fortnite Twitter account, the date was revealed, and it's not long to wait at all.

The tweets reads: "Season 6 is now dropping from the Battle Bus on September 27.

"Celebrate its arrival and unlock those final Battle Pass rewards with an additional 400% Match XP all weekend, from now until September 24 at 8 AM ET (1200 GMT). Glide into the party!"

We don't know what the theme is yet, but the Twitter page also announced earlier today (September 21) that the Valkyrie Outfit and Frostwing Glider are available now, writing that it was a 'Frozen Forewarning'...

Are we going to get a wintery themed season, or perhaps a full on crossover with a certain Disney franchise? Maybe Thanos was just the first in a series of brand deals with the House of Mouse.

If Fortnite hasn't already taken up all your time and money, a special Fortnite version of Monopoly is set to release in time for the Christmas period. It promises to be more of a board game version of the battle royale we all know and love, rather than just the normal game with a fancy coat of paint.
