A new Fornite season is landing and it's bringing with it some amazing new features for gamers to get their hands on.
Players of Fortnite Season 7 can now fly with "Stormwing Planes" to zoom around in and ziplines to shoot from place to place.
Not only this, but there are number of new locations for people to explore, mainly "Frosty Flights" and Expedition outposts.
When is Fortnite Season 7 out?
Developer Epic Games confirmed in a tweet that downtime for the new season began at 9am on Friday, December 6 in the UK, or 4am Eastern Time.
The official Fortnite Twitter account wrote: "Stay frosty! Downtime for Season 7 begins December 6 at 4 AM ET (0900 UTC)."
And added this morning: "Iceberg, dead ahead! Downtime for the Season 7 update has begun. Bundle up with the Patch Notes to see what awaits."
The downtime is expected to last for a few hours as the new features are added and the Battle Pass downloaded.
What is new in Fortnite Season 7?
Huge areas of the map will get a seasonal makeover with snow and ice-themed skins, along with more pets, toys, weapons and vehicle skins.
Christmas skins are predicted to be huge while winter sports could make an appearance as well.
The X-4 Stormwing is a five-player biplane complete with a mounted machine gun, and ziplines will help players move around the map.
A new sandbox mode called Fortnite Creative is also set to arrive with the new patch, available to those who buy the Battle Pass from tomorrow.
Everyone else will have to wait until December 13 to get their hands on the new sandbox mode.
The new Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks and gives players access to new skins, including the Zenith and Lynx outfits, and exclusive challenges.
New wraps will also be made available with Battle Pass, which allows gamers to customise weapons and vehicles to match their avatar.
Players can access more than 100 new rewards and 100 levels with Battle Pass.
The elaborate Season 7's trailer starts off all nice and festive, featuring a lovely little Christmas animation before a huge iceberg arrives, bringing with it maniacal snowman armed with huge guns and biplanes.
Epic Games started teasing the new season at the beginning of the week on their official Twitter account.
The official tagline is "Ascend to new heights".
