Channel 4 has axed episodes of Four in a Bed after a contestant was jailed for child sex offences.
Wales Online reports that 25-year-old Nathan Pearce had sex with a 15-year-old schoolgirl in the King's Head hotel – where he is the manager – in Llandovery, Wales and has been jailed for 30 months.
He claimed that he thought she was over 16, but she told police that she was underage "by six or seven weeks" when they had sex.
Channel 4's popular daytime show Four in a Bed features four different hotel owners rating each other's hotel, with Pearce's hotel appearing in a week of episodes in May last year.
The broadcaster has now confirmed that it will not repeat those episodes and has also removed them from catch-up service All4 following Pearce's conviction.
"The episodes featuring this man will not be shown again in the light of the criminal conviction," commented a Channel 4 spokeswoman.
Pearce was found guilty of three offences of sexual activity with a child and possessing 13 indecent images of children.
"The sad feature of this case is that you have shown no remorse whatsoever. You are a man who sees nothing wrong in the sexual exploitation of children. In my judgement the difference in ages between you and her is significant," said recorder Ifan Wyn Jones.
Four in a Bed airs on Channel 4.
