Four fire engines attend blaze at house in village near Boston
Emergency services were called to a house fire in a Lincolnshire village last night. Four fire engines were sent to the scene of the blaze on White House Lane in Fishtoft, Boston, just before 8.30pm on Saturday, January 25.
Crews from Boston Fire Station, Kirton Fire Station, Leverton Fire Station and Donington Community Fire Station attended the fire. Four sets of breathing apparatus were used, along with a nine-metre ladder, cobra, two hose reel jets, one main jet and six thermal imaging cameras.
A statement from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service reads: "20:26 - @BostonLFR, @FireKirton, @leverton_fire, @FireDonington attended a fire on White House Lane, Fishtoft. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 9m ladder, cobra, 2 hose reel jets, 1 main jet & 6 thermal imaging cameras to extinguish the fire."

An eyewitness posted on a Boston community Facebook page to say that a police van was also at the scene. A post on the Emergency Community Group (Boston) just before 9.10pm last night read: "House fire down White House Lane, 4 fire engines and 1 police van at the scene, currently no access. Hope all involved is okay."
It is unclear whether anyone was injured during the blaze.
