Four fire engines attend Lydd house blaze

Four fire engines have attended a house blaze tonight (Friday) in Lydd. Kent Fire and Rescue Service said that there is also a 'height vehicle' in attendance.

The incident was reported at 6.45pm on Ness Road. Crews at the scene have been wearing breathing apparatus.

They are using main jets and hose reel jets to bring the fire under control.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "Kent Fire and Rescue Service is at the scene of a house fire in Ness Road, Lydd. Four fire engines and a height vehicle are in attendance as crews, wearing breathing apparatus, are using main jets and hose reel jets to extinguish the flames."
