Four Skiers Caught in Avalanche in Northern Italy


One skier was killed and another three injured when they were buried by an avalanche on Sunday, March 5, while climbing northern Italy’s Mount Giasson.

The dead skier was reportedly a French national, while the three surviving skiers were American, French and British. The survivors are not reported to be in any serious condition.
