New Foxes Fanstore to open at Highcross Leicester

A new Foxes Fanstore is opening at Highcross Leicester tomorrow (Wednesday, November 20). The launch event will include appearances by current First Team stars, a Leicester City spokesperson said.

The store will be located on the centre's upper level, and doors will open at 12pm. The spokesperson said: "The store will complement the flagship Foxes Fanstore at King Power Stadium and shop.lcfc.com throughout the festive season and into 2025, offering an exciting range of merchandise and activities to celebrate everything Leicester City.

"The launch coincides with Leicester's dazzling Christmas lights switch-on and parade, making it a must-visit event for fans and festive shoppers alike, with loads of exciting festive activity throughout the city centre on a night of late-night shopping."

Players from the Leicester City Men's and Women's squads will be in attendance from 5.30pm until 7.30pm, "offering fans the chance to meet some First Team stars and snap a selfie", the spokesperson said. Filbert Fox is also due to be on hand to meet supporters.

Kirsty Freudenreich, head of operations at Highcross Leicester, said: "We’re delighted to welcome Leicester City Football Club’s fan store to Highcross, just in time for the Christmas period. Leicestershire is a county filled with passionate sports fans, so we’re confident that supporters of the Foxes will love this pop-up fan store, which has opened today (20 Nov) on the upper mall, between Samsung and newcomer, Prezzybox.

"To mark both its opening, and the city’s festive light switch on event [on Wednesday, November 20], fans can take part in a meet and greet with their favourite footballing stars from the men’s and women’s first team, between 5:30pm – 7:30pm. While you’re at the centre, don’t forget to drop by the Clock Tower to watch the Highcross-sponsored Christmas tree, and city centre, come alive from 6:30pm. We’re guaranteed to get a sprinkling of snow, too!”
