Seriously, we feel like we’ve been waiting for this little bundle of joy for FOREVER (which is probably the most selfish thing we’ve said all morning).

The littl'un is called Carter Bridge – which we are loving big-time, by the way – and seems to be happy and healthy and all that jazz.

The Saturdays singer told us all the happy news on Twitter this morning, writing:

‘Our gorgeous baby boy Carter Bridge was born this morning. He is absolutely perfect - Parker is so excited to be a big brother!’

UH – our heart can’t take this sort of cuteness first thing on a Saturday.

Also, can we just say that we admire Frankie’s commitment to the band by deciding to give birth on an actual Saturday? Brand recognition, and all that.

Anyway, everyone’s properly made up for her, including her Saturdays bandmates – Una tweeted this morning: 'Congratulations to @FrankieBridge and Wayne on the birth of their baby boy Carter! Can’t wait to meet him xx’.

Rochelle Humes also tweeted her congratulations, writing: 'Baby Carter is here…. he’s gorgeous too…Big Congrats to Frankie & Wayne, new member of the @TheSaturdays family.’

Oh, come on everyone – GROUP HUG.

Carter is now the latest addition to this famous family, which includes Frankie, footballer husband Wayne and eldest son Parker.

Frankie revealed earlier this year that she found pregnancy tough – experiencing the same condition as the Duchess of Cambridge, hyperemesis gravidarum, which makes you feel reet rough.

She told Closer: “Women should be honest about the fact that although having a baby is wonderful, it can be hard”

“It’s a massive body change and life change and comes with a whole wave of emotions.”

Well thankfully it’s all over now, eh Franks?

Anyway, must dash - we need to get back to knitting a bonnet for this little one.
