FRED. Olsen has unveiled new cruise plans from Southampton for the 2024/25 season, including opportunities to seek the northern lights.

The cruise shipping company revealed a host of specially timed sailings to coincide with natural wonders and chances to encounter native wildlife.

The new programme features an 11-night mystery cruise setting sail from Southampton in November 2024, with guests able to follow in the footsteps of explorers, navigators, and seafarers as they guess their next port of call.

Martin Lister, head of itinerary planning and destination experience, said: "This has been a particularly exciting programme to curate, and we have taken inspiration from our planet’s natural events and breath-taking scenery to create some really imaginative and unusual itineraries.

"Some of the highlights include chances to seek out the phenomenal Northern Lights in adventures to the Arctic or sail into the heart of the beautiful Norwegian Fjords."

Guests will have a chance to enjoy stargazing, spot marine life, and witness incredible scenery best viewed from the water.
