Free events celebrating Latin American culture in Liverpool this weekend
A colourful celebration of Latin American culture is set to take over locations across Liverpool this weekend. LA FERIA Festival has returned for 2024 with an exciting programme of music, dance and street art.
This year’s theme is DIVERSITY and the programme includes an incredible line-up of artists from Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Chile and Argentina. Although the festival started on Tuesday, September 10, its free events will take place on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15.
Music, dance and street performances will see Castle Street and Exchange Flags transformed for the 'Latin American Street Fiesta.' The free event is set to "light up the city in a rainbow of culture" from 12pm until 4pm on Saturday, September 14.

The Palm House in Sefton Park is set to host 'A Taste of Latin America,' a community day celebrating musicians, dancers, street artists, and delicious cuisine. Visitors can expect a variety of food stalls, creative workshops and performances all delivered by local and Latin American traders, artists and community groups.
For those who love to party, the festival offers the chance to dance the night away at Fiesta Latina. With live performances by Raices Cubanas led by Omar Puente and an electrifying mix of Latin beats from DJ Lubi. The event is taking place at District in Baltic Triangle tomorrow night from.
