Freezing temperatures to hit Surrey with snow possible across the South East
It is starting to feel like winter has arrived. Temperatures around Surrey are expected to fall this week, leading to it feeling much colder.
‘Feels like’ temperatures in Guildford, Woking and Reigate are not forecast to get above 0C on some days this week, as the region sees some wintery spells. The Met Office has forecast that Tuesday, November 19 will see wet and wintry flurries in the morning developing into sunshine in the afternoon.
However, it will get colder as the day goes on. In Guildford, the temperature is predicted to peak at around 2am when it is expected to be around 11C. By 7am it will feel like 4C while plummeting all the way down to a ‘feel like’ 0C by 10am.

The Met Office has also said that snow is possible in the South East on Tuesday, but there is no indication that this will hit Surrey yet. However, weather warnings for snow have been issued for other parts of the country.
On Wednesday, November 20 the forecast across the county is for brisk winds and some wintry showers. In Woking, like lots of Surrey, ‘feels like’ the temperature is not predicted to get above 0C, and will even get as low as -4C.
The rest of the week is not expected to get much warmer. On Thursday, November 21, Regiate is not predicted to feel much warmer than 1C, despite some sunny weather.

And it looks like these more wintery conditions are here to stay. The Met Office is forecasting cold temperatures for the rest of the month. Across the UK the weather is expected to turn more wet and windy, with some snowfall over the weekend.
According to Open Weather, which uses a number of data sources from global meteorological agencies such as the Met Office, the heaviest period of snow forecast this week is in Stowe in Buckinghamshire. A total of 0.6 inches of snow is forecast there at 6am on Saturday, November 23.
