Freight Train Carrying 'Dangerous Goods' Derails Near Nana Glen, New South Wales

A 1,500-meter-long freight train derailed near Nana Glen, New South Wales, on the morning of February 25, according to the local fire and rescue service.

Fire and Rescue NSW said half of the carriages derailed, adding that one of the locomotives had “leaked up to 8,000 litres of diesel”. The train was carrying “dangerous goods”, which were secured, Supt Rod Chetwynd said.
