Fresh A57 Aston appeal after man dies and woman seriously injured in crash
A 61-year-old man has died and a 55-year-old woman remains in hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a van in Aston.
A 55-year-old woman who was driving a KIA and her passenger, a 61-year-old man, were both taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a Ford Transit van on the A57. South Yorkshire Police received reports of the incident on Friday 15 November at around 12.46pm.
Sadly, despite medics best efforts, on Wednesday (20 November) the man died as a result of his injuries. His family are being supported by specialist officers.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "We are now appealing for further information from members of the public who may have witnessed the collision or who may have relevant dashcam footage that could help with the investigation."
