He has no mobile phone and is not believed to have access to money.

Inspector Jamie McFarlane from Pollok Police Station said: “It has been more than two weeks since Darren was last seen and his family are extremely concerned about him.

“From CCTV we know that he was wearing a distinctive white puffer jacket with a fur hood and we are appealing to anyone who was in Bellahouston Park on the morning of Thursday, 29 August, who may have seen Darren walking to please get in touch.

“We would also urge any motorists with dash-cams who were in the area to please check their footage in case they have captured anything which could help us to piece together Darren’s movements.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1988 of Wednesday, 4 September, 2024.”

Speaking to the Daily Record, his worried sister Jax Pollock said: "The past two weeks have been absolutely horrific for us as a family. My brother is so vulnerable. I know he won't ask for help and that's what is making this so difficult for us.

"He has suffered from severe psychosis, schizophrenia and he's autistic. We have managed this for a family for the last 20 years - however in the last few years his mental health has deteriorated and he has been going out for long walks for a couple of hours."
