Fresh update in case missing dad last seen on King Charles' Coronation Day
A fresh appeal has been made in the case of a missing Warwickshire dad who has not been seen for 16 months. Stefan Watkins – known as Lee or LeeLee – has not been seen since he left his home in Warwick on the day of King Charles' Coronation on May 6 2023.
There were initial reports that he was seen in Coventry in May last year, but detectives say that they have found 'no proof of life' since he left his home. Back in July, they arrested a 45-year-old woman from Warwick on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
But today (September 26), a Warwickshire Police spokesperson has confirmed she has been released with no further action (NFA). This means the hunt to find the dad - or what has happened to him goes on.

Re-appealing for help, Senior Investigating Officer, Gareth Unett said: “We truly hope Stefan is alive and well. Unfortunately, despite significant investigative work, we have no confirmed proof of life after CCTV showed him leaving his home on the day of the King’s coronation last year.
“It has been, and continues to be, a challenging time for Stefan’s partner. Any information you can give us – no matter how small – may be a crucial missing piece to help get answers for her and Stefan’s loved ones.”
Stefan has been described as white, around 6ft tall, with blue eyes and very short hair. He has connections to Coventry and parts of south Warwickshire.
