Fresh Snow Covers Northeast Maine

A Maine meteorologist navigated frozen conditions after fresh snow and freezing rain moved across parts of Maine on Tuesday, December 28.

This footage, uploaded from Castle Hill, Maine, by local National Weather Service (NWS) meteorologist James Sinko shows snow falling atop the area’s already snowy roads and landscape.

Sinko reported at least 2.5 inches of new snow accumulation at his location by Tuesday evening.

The NWS said snow and light drizzle would follow on December 29, with warnings of a potential storm system moving in on New Year’s Day. Credit: Meteorologist James Sinko via Storyful
