Fresh Snow for Opening Day at Breckenridge Ski Resort

Skiers and snowboarders reveled in inches of fresh snow on the first day of the Breckenridge Ski Resort season on Friday, November 8.

The National Weather Service (NWS) said the Breckenridge area could see additional snow accumulations up to 10 inches by Saturday, with winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

Footage taken by Michele Carlson shows snow coming down at Breckenridge Resort on Friday.

The NWS said that travel “could be very difficult, especially on the eastside of the Front Range” Friday afternoon and evening.
