Friday night Stoneleigh pub stabbing reports see three arrests made as Surrey Police launch appeal

Police have arrested three men after a serious assault at a Surrey pub two miles north of Epsom on Friday night (May 31). The incident happened in Stoneleigh and saw officers called to The Station shortly before 9.30pm to reports of a stabbing.

The trio - all in their 20s - were arrested on suspicion of GBH. Surrey Police has now launched an appeal for witnesses.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers were called to the Station Public House shortly before 9.30pm on Friday, May 31 following reports of a stabbing at the location.” They added in a statement on Saturday (June 1): “As part of our enquiries, we are looking to speak to anyone who might have witnessed last night’s events.

“Were you in the area around The Broadway in Stoneleigh between 9.15pm and 9.30pm? Do you have CCTV, dash cam or helmet cam footage that may have captured all or part of this incident?”
