'My Friend!' Little Boy Greets Trash Collector With Bottled Water in Louisiana

Little Grayson was giving water to his favorite sanitation worker on September 5, 2019, in Louisiana, when, to his surprise, the trash collector remembered his name.

Crystal Ellis, who recorded the video at her home, told Storyful she provides in-home child care, and the kids give water to mail and sanitation workers on hot days.

The sanitation worker seen in the video is known as Mr Rocky. He has repeatedly taken time to greet Grayson, Ellis said.

In the video Mr Rocky can be heard saying hello to Grayson, adding, “Thought I forgot your name, huh?”

In the original Facebook post, Ellis wrote that Grayson ran inside shouting, “My friend remembered my name!”

Ellis told Storyful she posted the video to bring attention to all the trash collectors do.
