Friend of royals facing disqualification for speeding
A friend of the Royal family faces disqualification after being caught speeding.
Hugh Van Cutsem, 47, of Milton-under-Wychwood, Chipping Norton, was caught on speed camera driving an Audi RS6 at 89mph in a 60mph zone in January.
He pleaded guilty to exceeding the legal limit on the A1065, a single carriageway road at Ickburgh, at Norfolk Magistrates' Court on Tuesday March 22.
The matter was adjourned to April 14 for a disqualification notice under a single justice procedure.
The Van Cutsem family have been close to the Royal family for many years.
Prince William was an usher at the wedding of Hugh van Cutsem and Rose Astor at St John the Baptist Church in Burford in 2005.
