No Good Deed, the new series starring Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano, has landed its release date.

The Netflix show follows three families whose lives are brought together after they attempt to buy the same house, which they all believe to be the home of their dreams. Not everything is as it seems, however, with plenty of secrets to be unearthed.

Created by Liz Feldman, who is best known for Dead to Me, the release date for No Good Deed has been confirmed following the release of the first trailer, with audiences being able to stream the show from December 12.

The teaser trailer showcases the various families entering the house, before the montage hints at some backstabbing, voyeurism, mischief and potentially a gruesome battle along the way.

In addition to Kudrow and Romano, the stacked cast for the show includes Linda Cardellini, Luke Wilson, Teyonah Parris, Abbi Jacobson, Poppy Liu, Denis Leary and O-T Fagbenle, with recurring guests including Matt Rogers and Anna Marie Horsford.

Kudrow’s character Lydia Morgan, who is married to Romano’s Paul, is described as “an immensely talented former concert pianist” who is “also devoted to Paul and their two children”, with the family selling the house at the centre of the action.

Cardellini’s Margo Starling is described as a “perfectly-coiffed status seeker”, whilst Wilson - who recently starred in Horizon: An American Saga - will play a fading soap star who is now out of work.

Whilst Friends star Kudrow can look forward to No Good Deed, the star recently suffered some unfortunate career news after fantasy-adventure series Time Bandits was cancelled by Apple TV+ after just one season.

Despite receiving positive reviews, the adaptation of the 1981 film - which was directed by Ridley Scott- didn’t strike a chord with viewers, with low viewership being cited as a reason for its axing.

No Good Deed streams on Netflix on December 12.
