Frontier Airlines Pilot Arrested at Houston Airport
A Frontier Airlines pilot was arrested at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, on Thursday, August 1, according to law enforcement officials.
The Houston Police Department (HPD) told Storyful that the pilot, Seymour Walker, was arrested on an assault-family violence warrant issued by the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Department of Public Safety. Police officers boarded the aircraft and made the arrest before passengers had boarded, HPD said.
Frontier Airlines confirmed in a statement sent to Storyful that a crew member was taken into custody. A replacement crew member was not immediately available, leading to the flight’s cancellation, they said. Credit: Roman Rose via Storyful
