Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic says the west Londoners have put themselves in a good position to make the Championship play-offs after winning four of their past five games.

Fulham beat Preston North End 3-1 on Saturday - thanks to goals from Sone Aluko, Neeskens Kebano and Chris Martin - and are five points outside the top six with a game in hand.

The Cottagers face fourth-placed Leeds at Craven Cottage tomorrow night and Jokanovic said: “In general where we are now, we can be relatively satisfied.

"We are around the top six and we now want to close the gap to the top six.

“This is our target and we are still in position to be fighting to play after the first week in May.

"We have taken 13 points from the last five games and my team play with confidence.”

Meanwhile, Garry Monk's men are on a similarly impressive run, having won three of their last four games, to ignite hopes that they can secure a return to the top-flight.
