Full list of 28 UK counties where snow blizzards are forecast this week
Snow could fall across parts of the UK this week. According to weather maps from WX Charts, flurries could hit some parts of the country on Friday, January 31.
The Scottish Highlands look set to see the snow first, along with the Central Belt, and the Scottish Borders. Forecasts indicate the snow could then move south, toward England and Wales.
In England, the heaviest of the snowfall could be seen in the north west from 3am. The band of snow is then predicted to move south and east, heading to the Midlands, London and East Anglia.

The snow should have passed by about noon, leaving showers on the Kent coast. The rest of the UK is expected to remain dry for the rest of the day.
Other areas of the UK are set for heavy rainfall during the day. The worst of the wet weather is anticipated for Wales and the south west of England.
Showers are expected to arrive in the early hours of the morning, according to WX Charts. Patchy rain may also be seen in the Midlands.
