Gabrielle Union Wore a Cheeky Orange Bikini in PDA-Filled Video with Dwayne Wade

“Demure or nah?”

As TikTok’s “very demure, very mindful” aesthetic infiltrates mainstream conversation, Gabrielle Union is getting in on the trend. The 10 Things I Hate About You actress headed to Instagram to give fans a peek at her romantic summer getaway with Dwade Wayne in France, including some flirty moments aboard a giant yacht. Union turned up the head in a cheeky orange thong bikini as she packed on the PDA with her husband onboard.

“Demure or nah?” she quipped alongside an Instagram carousel shared on Thursday, August 15. In the first photo, the star posed leaning on the boat’s railing while wearing a straw hat from Lack of Color, beach waves, and a barely-there strapless bandeau bikini in neon orange from Jade Swim. The second photo–a screenshot of a text she’d sent to someone–seemed to answer her own question, as she wrote, “It’s giving very mindful, very cutesy, very demure.” Other photos and videos in the carousel showed the mom-of-one diving into the water and dancing with friends, a close-up shot of Wayne’s washboard abs, and some PDA moments. The Bring It On star could be seen gazing out at the ocean as she wrapped her arm around her husband in one photo, while another video showed her dancing alongside Wade as they knelt on the yacht’s floor. In one romantic clip, the former basketball star could be seen kissing Union’s stomach and embracing her as she stood in front of him.

The couple’s 5-year-old daughter, Kaavia James, was also seen soaking up the sun on the yacht vacation in the photo dump, including a hilarious zoom-in of the toddler’s sassy expression, which Union captioned, “Can I help you?"

The star previously opened up about her daughter's "shady baby" attitude, which she apparently even had as a newborn. In a March 2019 Parents cover story, Union opened up about Kaavia's budding personality, saying, “When I ask her a question, Kaavia responds with a lot of animation, and she’ll pause so you can ask her more. She follows along, but she doesn’t do baby talk. When people talk baby talk, she gives shady-baby looks.”

Only time will tell whether the Brat girl summer vibes are going to be completely eclipsed by a “very demure” fall, but it looks like the actress has nailed the best of both worlds.
