Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen has welcomed his first child with girlfriend Allie Teilz.

The actor took to Instagram to announce the news yesterday evening (October 22), sharing a picture of his baby daughter holding his finger.

He captioned the image: "With full hearts and overwhelming joy @allieteilz and I introduce you to the newest member of our family. She is perfect."

Alfie got together with girlfriend Allie, a DJ and model, back in 2017.

He was previously engaged to Ray Winstone's daughter Jaime in 2008, before they split up in 2010. They later gave their relationship another go, but split for good in 2014 due to their busy work schedules.

Alfie is teaming up with former Game of Thrones co-star Mark Addy (who played King Robert Baratheon on the HBO drama) for a new project.

They will star in ITV's White House Farm, a true crime drama based on a 1980s murder case. Jeremy Bamber was jailed for life for killing five members of his family at an Essex farm in 1985.

Freddie Fox will play Bamber, while Alfie has been cast as Brett Collins and Addy will play police detective Stan Jones.

We're also expecting to see Alfie again in Game of Thrones season 8 – but what will those final episodes hold for Theon Greyjoy?

To find out, we'll have to wait until 2019, which is basically an eternity.

Game of Thrones season 8 will premiere in 2019. The show airs on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK. Season 7 is now available to buy on DVD, Blu-ray or digital download.
