Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner showed off her rapping skills with James Corden

Is Sansa Stark about to claim the Iron Throne?

We’ll have to see whether she comes out on top by the end of Games of Thrones‘ eighth and final season; but one talent she might be able to sneak into her arsenal is the ability to spit bars.

Which might come in handy in Westeros, who knows? Sansa herself, Sophie Turner, dropped by James Corden’s The Late Late Show, as part of his special London edition, to “spit pure fire” – in her own words.

The actor then launched into a flawless rendition of Eminem’s “The Real Slim Shady”, which was only cut short when she realised: “I can’t say the next word, it’s really rude”.

She also explained the meaning behind her new tattoo – a house Stark direwolf sigil and the words “the pack survives” – which had caused a small furore amongst Game of Thrones fans who thought she’d given away the ending to the entire show.

"While I was getting it done, people advised me not to because it looked like I was giving everything away," she explained. "But I wasn't. It's just a quote from last season. Everyone figures that the pack really does survive, but it's just a moral that I like to live by."

Game of Thrones season 8 is expected to air in early 2019.
