Game Of Thrones' Hot Pie has opened a bakery in real life

Hot Pie made a grand return to Game Of Thrones in Monday night’s episode, with the young orphan being the one to tell Arya Stark the good news that the Boltons were dead and her family were once again in control of Winterfell.

The character, who was known for his baking talent, was much-loved during the early seasons of the fantasy show, however, viewers hadn’t seen him for three long years, with Hot Pie not being featured since season four.

Still, the actor that plays him, 21-year-old Ben Hawkey, has made good use of his time away from Westeros, opening his own bakery in London.

Aptly named ‘You Know Nothing Jon Dough’, Ben sells goods such as Direwolf Bread to patrons, and it is even available through UK delivery site Deliveroo.

Speaking to Digital Spy about his business venture, Ben shared: “Hot Pie’s Direwolf loaves are a favourite for Game of Thrones fans, and people are always asking me for the secret of my recipe.

“I can’t share that, but Deliveroo customers will have the chance to try them themselves. You don’t even need to take a dangerous walk down the King’s Road to visit, it comes to you.”

Ben didn’t reveal whether or not he will be back on Game Of Thrones any time soon, with it being likely that Monday night’s episode was the last that we will see of Arya’s former companion.

Still, it’s good to see the baker – who has few acting credits away from the series – making the most of his link to the show, and we certainly can’t wait to try a Direwolf Loaf.
