On Friday (August 23), Deadline reported that the Jon Snow actor's next film will be an MCU project, although the film in which he'll feature has not yet been revealed, nor has the character he'll be playing.
At present, *Northern accent* we know nothing. But Digital Spy has reached out to Kit's representatives for comment.
However, it's certainly possible that further details will emerge over the course of the weekend as Disney holds its D23 Expo.
With Marvel's Phase 4 on the horizon, the likes of The Eternals and Black Widow could be strong possibilities – or perhaps he'll have a role to play in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness or Thor: Love and Thunder.
And don't forget, Black Panther 2, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Fantastic Four, Captain Marvel 2, Mutants (aka X-Men) and Blade will all be released during Phase 4, too. So at this point, anything could happen.
With Marvel yet to make any announcements at D23, let's see if more details about Kit's new role will be dropped over the weekend. But we're sure that won't stop you picturing him as the Silver Surfer in the meantime.
