Game of Thrones star "moved" by crew while breastfeeding on The Tower set
ITV police drama The Tower's crew has been hailed by DS Sarah Collins actress Gemma Whelan.
Having welcomed her baby son Freddy ahead of the second series, which is subtitled Death Message, Whelan needed to take the little one to work with her when production began.
"I was a bit moved by how kind they were to me as a working mother – it is an extra thing to deal with having a breastfeeding mother on set," she told OK!.

"Obviously, you should be as welcome as you are in every other workplace, but it requires more thought.
"Also, the travelling band is big now, because my husband and daughter are also up here for filming. So, we've made it into a summer holiday experience," the star continued. "It's actually nice to be at work knowing that everyone's safe and I'm not far from them. It's been a really positive experience."
Whelan, who originally made waves as Yara Greyjoy in Game of Thrones, will be starring in a new instalment of the show after its renewal for a third series.

Her character Sarah's next investigation will based on The Tower author Kate London's third novel Gallowstree Lane, and executive producer Patrick Harbinson recently teased what's to come on screen.
"We're delighted to be filming a third series of The Tower," he said. "Gallowstree Lane has a high-stakes drugs and gangs storyline with Jimmy [Akingbola] and Emmett [J Scanlan]'s characters taking major roles.
"Sarah and Lizzie have gripping and heartbreaking stories, too, as the drama of Portland Tower comes full circle. I firmly believe series three will be our best yet."
The Tower II: Death Message premieres Monday, August 28 on ITV.
