Gary Lineker’s ex-Danielle Bux strikes up new romance

Model Danielle Bux has gone public with her new beau some 10 months after divorcing Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker.

And guess what? The former England striker thinks it’s all rather marvellous! Hurrah.

37-year-old Danielle met LA-based entertainment lawyer Nate Greenwald, 41, after she headed for Hollywood following her split with 55-year-old Gary. Sources say the pair met six months ago when Danielle moved in next door.

Wonder if she popped round to borrow some sugar?

Anyway, things are apparently getting serious – so much so that the loved-up couple are even considering moving in together and starting a family. At least they won’t have far to go.

“Danielle and Nate are very happy and planning a future together,” a pal told The Daily Mail. “Gary and Nate got on very well when they met and Gary couldn’t be more pleased for them both.”

Gary and Danielle got hitched in Italy back in 2009 after a two year relationship, and their recent divorce was apparently so amicable that they spent just £400 on the settlement and it took 70 seconds to complete. The Match of the Day presenter in particular was alarmed at the amount of column inches devoted to their split.

“Obviously when you know you are going through something personal that you know is going to become public, it makes it quite difficult, and it becomes a weight on your shoulders,” he told The Daily Telegraph at the time.

Danielle has daughter Ella, 14, from a previous relationship and Gary has sons George, 14, Harry, 12, Tobias, ten, and eight-year old Angus with ex-wife Michelle Cockayne. Gary and Michelle split in 2006 after a 20-year marriage.
