Gaurdia Civil Conducts Rescue Operations in Flood-Hit Murcia

The Spanish civil guard conducted rescue and evacuation operations in the flood-hit region of Murcia, after heavy rainfall arrived in the area on September 12.

El Pais reported on September 13 that at least five people had died as a result of storms.

According to Europa Press, the civil guard in Murcia had rescued more than 1,000 people by September 14.
