Gavin & Stacey cast send hilariously sweet message to Child of Wales Awards
Gavin & Stacey is firmly back in Wales as all of the cast, including co-creators of the hit BBC series James Corden and Ruth Jones, film for the final ever episode of the show. While this meant they were unable to attend the Child of Wales Awards, a celebration of amazing children in Wales, they did send a very special message to all involved and it's as lovely as it is funny.
The Child of Wales Awards, which took place in Swansea on Friday, September 27, is an annual event that celebrates the inspirational achievements of the young people of Wales while raising money for charities in Wales dedicated to helping children. In their message to the nominees, all the main Gavin & Stacey cast appeared including James, Ruth, Matthew Horne, Jonna Page, Rob Brydon, Larry Lamb, Alison Steadman, Melanie Walters and Robert Wilfort.
In the video many of the cast appear in character with Nessa, played by Ruth, coming over to Uncle Bryn, played by Rob, to help him send his message in true Ness style. This included Nessa being her normal blunt self and Uncle Bryn dithering over what to say. Alison Steadman as Pam manages a few 'oh my Christs' and Corden appears, too.
