GBBO's Alison Hammond's honest two-word verdict on Noel Fielding
Alison Hammond is brimming with candid thoughts about her colleague, Noel Fielding of the Great British Bake Off, noting his unpredictability by saying she "can't predict" what he will do next.
At 49 years old, Alison's geared up for another stint on the popular culinary series, ready to co-host with Noel after Matt Lucas stepped down. While initial doubts clouded their pairing, they've since found a "beautiful, natural chemistry".
Alison, contrasting her roles, admits that working with Dermot O'Leary on This Morning feels telepathic as she claims she can read his mind. The Express has noted how she contrasts this understanding with her interactions with Noel.

Keeping things fresh and spontaneous, Alison spoke to The Sun, expressing: "Unlike with Dermot where I can predict what he's going to say I can read his mind with Noel, I can't predict what he's going to say or do."
She delved further into their camaraderie, underlining their similarly cheeky sense of humour: "It's really frustrating! But we've got the same sense of humour which is a little bit naughty."
Even Prue Leith, Bake Off judge, finds herself nodding along to Alison's insights, proclaiming that "nobody" can anticipate Noel's antics, sometimes not even Noel himself.
Feeling welcomed and cherished within the Bake Off community, Alison expresses "excitement" about regrouping with the crew. Noel himself has shared that within the new series' offerings, it was an incident involving Alison and a hammock that stood out most to him.
Discussing the memorable events from the upcoming series with The Guardian, Noel shared that it wasn't a stellar bake that grabbed his attention but rather Alison's hammock debacle, admitting pensively: "I'll never be able to unsee it."
Continuing with his affectionate ribbing, he said: "What I love about Alison and I mean this with the greatest of respect is that she's an absolute klutz. If anyone's going to fall out of a hammock, it'll be her. She also fell backwards off one of the workbenches while showing off. Don't worry, she was OK. No Hammonds were harmed in the making of this series."
Lavishing compliments on his co-star, Noel called Alison a "brilliant improviser and instinctively funny", noting that Bake Off judges Prue and Paul Hollywood both "adore" her.
Viewers can catch the upcoming episode of The Great British Bake Off on Channel 4, Tuesday at 8pm.
